Commission

At Revolution, we will save you money

Because we run a low overhead business model we can afford to pass on significant savings to you while still giving you industry-leading service and capability. Our commission is 2% of the sale price plus GST. We also charge an administration fee of $500 plus GST. For example, on a sale of $800,000, the commission will be $16,500 plus GST. You will find that this is a better value commission rate compared to national brands based in Richmond.

Supporting Local Children

Revolution has been established as a “profit for purpose” business where all company dividends are given back to the community to support local children in need of a helping hand.

Revolution is about providing funding for subs, sport, or the arts fees as well as any uniforms or equipment needed by the children so they can be involved in these activities. Our company profits will be distributed to existing local organisations who already support our young people in this region on an annual basis.

  • At Revolution we do not advertise property on paper based media publications, the response from legacy forms of marketing is becoming less and less and is very expensive, it is used more to further an agents profile than to effectively market your property.
  • Open homes are an important part of selling your home, but they are optional and if you choose not to have them, that is okay with us.

Negotiation

Negotiation is vitally important

It’s not often spoken about these days, but negotiation is the glue that puts deals together. At Revolution, we believe that only highly trained and experienced negotiators can be successful real estate agents. At Revolution, we only suggest methods of sale that make negotiations possible. All offers are put in writing on the standard ADLS & REINZ sale and purchase agreements (private treaty, tender or auction versions depending on sale method) and presented in person where possible for your consideration.

Working with other Agents

At Revolution we allow other company’s agents to sell our listings anytime

In the industry when a property is sold in conjunction with another agency this is called a work-in. Work-ins are rare in the Nelson Tasman region and often very difficult to achieve. At Revolution, we believe it is in our clients best interest to allow work-ins, so our policy is to accept any work-in at any time while your property is on the market. We do not place any restrictions on this, all that is required is for the agent to get in touch and make an appointment and sign and return a conjunctional agreement that sets out the conditions of the conjunctional sale. At all times your Revolution agent will be in attendance from conducting inspections to completing the sale.
